A Borrowed Angel

Lord, this prayer's not for me, but for a friend of mine.
I have all I need, but he's run out of time.
The doctors say, that there's not much hope.
But he still holds tight, to the end of the rope.

Lord I know there's an angel around all the time.
But for now could he borrow an angle of mine?
Lord, he loves you, this man and his wife.
And in your hands, he'll put his life.
